PRIMARY POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES

Position: Assistant Manager- Brand
Reports to: Store Manager
Supervises: Store Associates


PURPOSE:

The Assistant Manager, Brand provides leadership that optimizes sales results with specific ownership for the customer experience on the sales floor

o Build the Brand at 70%             
o Build Talent at 20%                    DRIVE PROFITABLE TOP-LINE SALES GROWTH
o Build Capability at 10%


OVERVIEW OF ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

A best in class customer experience and profitable top-line sales growth are achieved by:

Build the Brand - Create a store's environment that is focused on consistently delivering exceptional, positive, in-store customer experiences

1. Owns the customer experience throughout the store
2. Supports best at bras focus
3. Demonstrates excellent customer sales lead (CSL) behaviors
4. Owns planning and execution of floorset guide
5. Owns achievement and maintenance of compelling visual merchandising presentation, includes identifying and executing sell down strategies
6. Owns education and communication of changes to visual merchandising standards to Sales Leadership Team and associates
7. Owns housekeeping and maintenance of store
8. Manages and resolves customer relations issues

Build Talent-Attract, recruit, hire, develop, inspire, and retain top talent

1. Owns high quality execution and facilitation of sales education materials and selling strategies
2. Supports attracting, recruiting and onboarding of sales associates
3. Owns talent lifecycle of direct reports including onboarding, assessment, retention, career development, succession planning and recognition
4. Serves on the Sales Leadership Team and is responsible for total store results
5. Owns communication of sales and policy information to all associates. Maintains the communication board
6. Coaches sales associates to maximize their talent
7. Promote Associate Relations (PAR), create a positive work environment and resolve associate relations issues

Build Capability - Analyze the business and create/communicate SMART action plans that optimize results and ensure effective execution of all operational activities

1. Analyze business and suggest action
2. Support the management of controllable expenses
3. Communicate sales floor product needs to the SM and AM - Capability
4. Supports the physical inventory process and the development and implementation of store strategy to reduce shrink
5. Supports execution of standard operating procedures
6. Supports all activities related to providing a safe working environment
