Sales Associate JOB DESCRIPTION

PRIMARY POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES

Position: Sales Associate
Reports to: Store Manager

PURPOSE:

The Sales Associate is responsible for serving customers and selling merchandise. This position is also responsible for assisting with the protection of company assets through proper merchandising, loss prevention and accurate store system procedures and is approached with a concise training program focusing on all aspects of store policies and practices

Delivers a best-in-class, captivating, branded customer experience that builds loyalty and enables consistent sales and profit growth


Sales Associates are required to:

  • Supports a customer-centric culture, where the full energy and activity of the store team are focused on delivering highly satisfying customer experiences
  • Supports Best at Bras initiatives by modeling and reinforcing brand selling behaviors
  • Providing customers with general product knowledge and displays experts product knowledge in assigned category if specialized
  • Maintains awareness of all sales, promotions and applicable procedures
  • Understands and adheres to brand standards
  • Replenishes merchandise to standard to create a full and abundant store and ensure visual displays are maintained according to standards
  • Contributing to the successful operation of the store by closely following directives as instructed by store management
  • Complying with all company and store policies and practices, including asset protection and health and safety procedures
  • Assisting in the timely and efficient implementation of store operations and initiatives
  • Assists in maintenance of backroom, including both merchandise and non-merchandise, to brand standards to enable efficient replenishment
  • Reinforces all activities related to providing a safe working environment
  • Maintains an awareness of loss prevention by fostering a culture of honesty and connecting the link between customer service and shrink
  • Communicates effectively with store manager, team and associates
  • Provides feedback on improvement opportunities and any obstacles that hinder execution
  • Acts as a shadow partner to new team members as requested
